Seeing the Need
In the face of a catastrophe, individuals, families and communities suffer greatly; and the compassion of Christ calls us to respond. We cannot know when a nation and its people will be in dire need, but we can be prepared.
Help us prepare by contributing to a fund that will be used exclusively for emergency response.
Our Work
In the wake of a disaster, we offer loving help through the hands of trusted local Christians in our global network. These Christian men and women are equipped with the language skills and cultural understanding required to assess the greatest needs of their people.
With the help of generous donors, SIS shares the love of Christ with those in crisis by providing for basic needs such as:
- Shelter
- Water
- Staple food: rice, beans, milk
- Cooking utensils and fuel
- Farming tools
- Seeds
- Household items
- Small business start-up funds
- Compassionate counsel
