Unreached Women in India Hear the Gospel and Receive Vocational Training
Women in India are traditionally viewed as less valuable than men. From birth, and even in the womb, women and girls are regularly discriminated against to the point of death.
Cultural tradition also puts the Dalit and tribal groups in India beneath all others, deeming them "unworthy human beings."
Being a woman and a Dalit in India is a great disadvantage.
In the name of Christ, SIS and local organizations are reaching out to these Dalit and tribal women. Teams of Christian women travel to the poorest of the poor to offer them the genuine hope found in Jesus. Christian women working as a team can effectively provide biblical teaching, counseling, medical services, children's outreach and training programs for women. As women and families are led to Christ, lives are transformed, and a church is established in the community.
Give Dalit and tribal women the chance to hear about Jesus and experience His love through the ministry of Christian women.
