Training Center Encourages and Equips Persecuted Christians in Indonesia
Christians living in Northern Sumatra, also known as the "window to Mecca," are under immense pressure to walk away from their faith. For them, being a Christian means enduring prejudice, hostility, vandalism, loss of jobs, and sometimes even loss of life.
SIS and a local ministry are working together to build a training center where Indonesian Christians can get away from persecution and find spiritual encouragement. At the center, believers will be trained in discipleship and evangelism, and receive practical work skills that will help them earn income.
With our support, our Indonesian brothers and sisters in Christ will become a powerful presence in their community.
