Children in Northern Sumatra Discover That Jesus Loves Them
Life is hard in the rural communities of North Sumatra. Many areas have no clean water, no electricity, no healthcare and no schools. Children are required to care for their younger sisters and brothers as parents work from dawn to dusk to feed the family.
A local ministry leader and her co-workers bring tangible love and hope to remote villages where they gather 50 to 100 children for activities. In the time they spend with the children, each child hears the words, "Jesus loves you" and "I love you."
The goal this year is to reach 5,000 children and their families. Your financial and prayerful support is needed to supply teaching materials, to provide food for children, to pay children's workers for 12 months, and to help workers travel to remote villages.
