Bible Camps Help Teens Share Christ and Defeat Drug Addictions

Children in Northern Sumatra are growing up in turmoil and violence. With no hope for the future, many are turning to drugs. Only the message of Christ will make a lasting difference.

Girls at Campus

Amazingly, our sister ministry was invited into a school to tell students about Jesus. After the meeting, 600 students asked for prayer regarding their addictions, and follow-up Bible studies were started. Two years later, 500 of those students are still attending church, and the addiction rate at that school dropped from 75% to 15%.

With such success in the fight against drug addiction, doors are opening for our sister ministry. At Bible camp, they are equipping youth to lead Bible studies for their fellow students. As young people accept Christ as Lord of their lives, they find hope and the power to conquer their addiction to drugs.

With your help, 1,000 new youth leaders will be equipped with skills to lead Bible studies for 8,000 of their peers.
