Isolated Arab Women Find Christian Fellowship

Arab women live under cultural restrictions that limit major life decisions such as the roles they fill in society and their choices regarding marriage. In addition, Christian Arab women are persecuted for their faith. Within the 22 Arab nations, only eight percent of the entire population claim to be Christian. With believers in such a minority, Arab Christian women live with isolation as well as fear. Christian women in Arab countries are in desperate need of discipleship, training and connection with other women.

Isolated Arab Women Find Christian Fellowship

With the help of Sisters in Service, an indigenous ministry is providing Christian conferences for Arab women. The conferences provide a safe place for women to experience fellowship, leadership training, and access to mature Christians who counsel and pray with them.

Through the conferences and training, as many as 500 Arab women have the opportunity to receive much-needed encouragement and to grow in their faith. Many of these women go on to disciple others.
